Access directions from A1 South-East (Zurich South, Chur, Lucern)

With public transport

From Zurich main station (or Stadelhofen or Örlikon) use the local train system "S5" to "Niederweningen". Exit at "Niederweningen-Dorf" station, hourly departures, during working hours even twice per hour (second: "S5" in direction Rafz, change in Oberglatt to "S55" direction "Niederweningen").

From Baden: use the Bus #354 to "Niederweningen" or "Kaiserstuhl via Niederweningen".

By Car, coming via motorway A1 from south-eastern directions (Zurich South, Chur, Lucern):

From Lucern or Ticino use the motorway in direction "Zurich" and from there to "Berne", or exit at "Cham" and join via "Affoltern a.A." in "Birmensdorf" the next motorway to "Berne". Then follow directions below.

Driving directions outside of rush hours

1. Motorway A1 exit 55 "Neuenhof/Wettingen/Baden Ost".
2. Continue in direction "Baden", i.e. directly after exit take the right most lane.
   
3. At "Lindenplatz" (3^rd traffic light) turn right, direction "Bad Zurzach", over the bridge.
4. In the middle of the bridge take the left lane, at the end of the bridge, at the traffic light turn left, direction "Bad Zurzach", down a double curve.
5. Before the round point, take right lane, direction "Bad Zurzach/Kaiserstuhl".
6. Longer road uphill with curves to "Höhtal", then longer almost straight road downhill through "Ehrendingen".
7. At end a round point turn right, main roud #17, direction "Kaiserstuhl" and "Zürich". At indication "Schneisingen" still ahead, direction "Zürich", passing railway station "Niederweningen". At next crossroad turn right, follow indication "Mammut-Museum".
8. After underpassing the railway, next road right hand is the "Murzlenstrasse". After 50 m you see indication left "Mammut-Museum" and "Gemeindesaal"; staight ahead next house on left side is number 5.
9. Guest parking direclty in front of the house.

Alternative directions during rush hours

1. Motorway A1 exit 55 "Neuenhof/Wettingen/Baden Ost".
2. Continue in direction "Wettingen". Attention, to do so you need a U-turn left after the exit, underpassing the motorway and then immediateliy take the second lane from left (otherwise you'll get back to the motorway for Zurich).
   
3. After passing the bridge all straight ahead.
4. At second traffic light sitll straight ahead, direction "Bad Zurzach", down a double courve.
5. Before the round point, take right lane, direction "Bad Zurzach/Kaiserstuhl".
6. Longer road uphill with curves to "Höhtal", then longer almost straight road downhill through "Ehrendingen".
7. At end a round point turn right, main roud #17, direction "Kaiserstuhl" and "Zürich". At indication "Schneisingen" still ahead, direction "Zürich", passing railway station "Niederweningen". At next crossroad turn right, follow indication "Mammut-Museum".

From the double courve in "Baden"/"Ennetbaden" you have still about 7 km to drive to us.
